Salons are informal studio showings designed to bring dance artists and community members together in a shared space of curiosity, connection, and exchange. Local and regional dance companies are invited to apply to present works-in-progress, excerpts, or completed pieces in an open studio environment.

The space is intentionally simple. An open floor with no theatrical lighting, or technical elements, allowing the movement, ideas, and human presence to take center stage. Salons are not about polish or production, but about process, dialogue, and gathering.

These events create opportunities for artists to share their work in a supportive setting, and for audiences to engage more closely with the creative process. By removing traditional performance barriers, Salons foster accessibility, collaboration, and a stronger sense of community within the dance field.

Application Process: Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until all slots are filled. A $10 application will be required upon submission of proposal.
